Here are a couple of American Idol news found for this day. I suppose that there are too many Idols so it would be better if I sum it all up in one post. Let’s start with the recent champ, Scotty McCreery. The 17 year old crooner from Garner, NC will be turning 18 this 9th of October 2011. It’s a double celebration for McCreery considering his debut album will be hitting the street by the 4th of October 2011. TV guesting includes appearances on Regis and Kelly, The Tonight’s Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen deGeneres Show, and others I couldn’t remember. Next is Stefano Langone, I think the guy is now signed to a label. Expect his album soon.

OK, I think a lot of folks keep on praising James Durbin because he can sing like Adam Lambert. Oooops, no Adam or Siobhan comparison please because James Durbin is James Durbin! So right now, what do we have here? Some news saying that James Durbin doesn’t have any record deal yet? To some, specially the group of folks calling themselves as the Durbinators, this sounds kindda crazy. But here’s a question from Blogcritics (they did an inte with James) asking: So once the tour wraps up, are you just going to hit the ground running working on your album? “I’m already hitting the ground running. The stars are aligning, everything’s falling into place. You’ve got to get on it. I’ve been doing a lot of writing, and working with folks. James Michael from Sixx:A.M., Dj Ashba from Nikki Sixx’s band. Tomorrow I’m working with Marty Fredrickson that’s worked with Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Buckcherry, and right now working on the new Aerosmith record. I’m working with him and James Michael tomorrow. Writing all day. We just wrote an amazing track, we’re shopping it around, and hopefully some good news will be coming out very soon.”

James Durbin… ah, everybody going crazy on American Idol Season 10 knows that name! Anyways, Durbin is also busy like the champ Scotty McCreery. He’s currently writing a song with two of the biggest songwriters in rock n’ roll, James Michael and Marti Frederickson! The picture below shows how excited James Durbin collaborating with the right people of the genre. For starters, these guys got big names in the history of Rock, specially Frederickson. He has written and produced songs for Motley Crue, Daughtry, Ozzy Osbourne, and hey… also Aerosmith! Maybe it is Steven Tyler helping James to get connection with the right people. Also embedded below is when James Durbin singing Skid Row’s “18 and Life”. No idea what’s your reaction to that, but hey… rather sing “Youth Gone Wild” on tour, James!

Alright, just so you know, James Durbin is out! I find it hard to believe that people whine like sissy bitches just because their favorite’s gone. So yeah, James Durbin’s gone but why? Well maybe because he’s not doing well these past weeks. Last week, he didn’t do well, and during that second round he cried for no reason – just crying and stop singing, what’s that all about?! Last night, both of his performance were weak in all levels! No matter how the producers want him to win and how the judges tried to praise him even if he suck, he’s still bad. Enter Haley Reinhart… oh sure, she’s Casey Abrams’ sweetheart but that’s not it. It’s about her getting all the hate because of James Durbin’s exit. Everybody, including American Idol producers, want Haley to go home tonight. That’s why she is our PICK OF THE WEEK!

American Idol Season 10 Episode 35 : Last night’s episode is somewhat an “important” night for each of these remaining Top 4 contestants. Otherwise, that one unlucky person going home will not be granted with (1) a Hometown Parade, (2) Performing in your hometown with your local Mayor treating you like a real hero, (3) allocating one small street with your name on it (ie: James Durbin Avenue), or perhaps… (4) building you a statue in the middle of the road! Now that’s not all, things could be really endless, so yeah… that big loser going home tonight got no one to blame but his weak performance last night or the voting audience for being so lazy or maybe… blame Lady Gaga for giving you some nice advise and dressing you like a lunatic. For the record, 72 million votes came in for tonight’s episode!

American Idol Season 10 Episode 34 : Tonight, these Top 4 finalists will be performing songs from centuries old and bring it to life in a million audience, their own way and pretend to be original. Otherwise the judges will simply say, “you didn’t bring anything new into it”, “it’s too safe”, etc. This is also a very important night for the contestants since they are too close yet too far! Losing in this round tomorrow night is like catching a meteor in your handkerchief, I mean literally! Remember this: No Homecoming Party for the losers! Fans should vote for their favorite if they want that boy/girl to do the parade in the streets. One more thing, Lady Gaga is the guest mentor for tonight. I’ve no idea what kind of advice she’ll be giving to these kids. Maybe dressing like an idiot or whatever and Gaga mentoring the four contestants to sing songs written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller is like a big opposite happening, but we’ll see…
American Idol Season 10 Top 11 Tour Dates Announced

American Idol Season 10 might be the best season to some, while it is the worst to others. I’m the one who thinks in between. I’m having high hopes that this will be the best season when they’ve just announced the judges back then, but now all my hopes were wasted and yeah, I’m now staying in between. If you still care about it, they’ve just announced their Summer 2011 Tour Dates where you can watch a bunch of train wrecks live in your hometown. This time, you are paying to see them. Last year’s tour is a flop (that’s what I’ve read) and too bad we’re having Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, and Siobhan Magnus on that supposed to be solid line up. This one? I’m not sure who will carry the team. Scotty McCreery or James Durbin maybe? High screamings vs deep baritone voice and both were guys. Male contestants were the life and blood of this show nowadays, so maybe this will sell a little. Tour Dates are listed below.
