American Idol Season 10 Episode 33 : So, after having a good laugh on one Jacob Lusk’s fan trolling this blog, I am back to give you the results regarding last night’s performances. It is no secret that Jacob Lusk is the worst singer left standing and reaching the Top 5 is simply stupid. Try this one for size, “No Air” and “Love Hurts”, not to mention the male-female singing, crotch grabbing, pelvic thrusting, angry stomping… oh, nothing gets more hilarious on those performances but anyways, guests for tonight will be Jennifer Lopez, and Lady Antebellum. Not a fan of both. Seacrest announces American Idol Tour, 60 million votes, and the first 3 dates for the American Idol 2012 auditions. St. Louis (28th June), Portland (2nd July), and Oregon (22nd July). Don’t miss the best seats (for the tour), buy your ticket now.
American Idol Season 10 Episode 33 : 6th May 2011 (Elimination Night)
American Idol Season 10 Episode 32 : 5th May 2011 (Top 5 Performs – Songs from Now and Then)
American Idol Season 10 Episode 31 : Tonight, American Idol Season 10′s Top 5 finalists will be competing to win your votes. Singing ‘Songs from Now and Then’. Sounds exciting, specially that in tonight’s episode, we are expecting tremendous train wrecks! First, it was already reported that each of these contestants will be singing two songs. One coming from the 60′s and one from any recent hits of today. Singing songs from the 60s alone will already guarantee a huge mess from this 10th Season’s finalists but I still hope that no one chooses a Justin Bieber song! Boy, I’ve no idea why is that kid so famous singing such plastic music! Having said that, I also don’t have any idea why is Jacob Lusk still in the show?!?!! But yes Jacob, I’ll vote for you to get rid of the ever boring Lauren Alaina tomorrow night, lol! Maybe she’s singing Justin Bieber tonight since she already did Miley Cyrus last couple of weeks – how’s that sound? Live Blogging : Songs from Today & Yesterday (American Idol Season 10)
Sheryl Crow will be mentoring American Idol Season 10′s Top 5 Next Week
The Top 5 remaining contestants of American Idol Season 10 will be having the Grammy Award winning Singer/Songwriter, Sheryl Crow, as their guest mentor next week. Yeah, more and more great names coming on American Idol as the season is nearing the finale. The only funny thing is that Sheryl Crow said something on MSNBC regarding American Idol, like “Let’s face it, [American Idol] undermines art in every way and promotes commercialism. I am sad people love it so.” Well, that’s a 2007 interview, people could have changed their mind after a minute they’ve said something. Bring it on…
American Idol Season 10′s Top 5: Songs from Now and Then
The remaining Top 5 Finalists of American Idol Season 10 are: James Durbin, Scotty McCreery, Jacob Lusk, Haley Reinhart, and Lauren Alaina. These guys will be singing ‘Songs from Now and Then’, that’s the theme next week. Looks like great entertainment is waiting ahead of us because each of the contestants will be picking up two songs to sing. 1 song from 60′s and 1 from any current hits. Sounds great, but sounds a lot of work for the Top 5. Also a good way to screen further the so-called Top 5 into bits. And also next week (result show), Jennifer Lopez will be performing her new hit “I’m Into You”. I thought this was reported to be along with Bruno Mars and Crystal Bowersox but that might be incorrect. JLo will be supported by Pitbull. Lady Antebellum will also be performing. Seems like the producers want the audience to take notice on the Country genre…
Why is the song Alone by Heart is one of the most butchered song on American Idol?
Heart is one of the phenomenal bands coming from the 80s! You can’t escape the classics like “Who Will You Run To”, and of course, “Alone” being played on the radio over and over again during that fallen Golden Era. Both coming from the album Bad Animals, people picked the song “Alone” to be engraved in their hearts. To some extent, these guys (audience and contestants alike) think that this song is so easy to sing, not unless if your singing this on a bar, then sure it is! Enter American Idol where contestants even tried further in tweaking this song just to be different to the ears of the judges. I don’t think those tweaks were necessary because no one can sing like Ann Wilson. You can try to emulate but you can’t be near as good, or you can try adding your tweaks and sound stupid later on! Here are a few videos with American Idol contestants singing ‘Alone’ during the competition.
