Casey Abrams, any of you familiar with this guy? A redhead with beard that a lotta people said that he’s very ‘talented’ and looks like a Knocked Up star, Seth Rogen! Yeah, Abrams now landed a deal. It’s from Concord Records – a Jazz Label known for their works with Carole King, Esperanza Spalding, and Kenny G. You might also remember the name Casey Abrams very well if you ask yourself: ‘who is that guy that ends up kneeling in front of Ryan Seacrest’s crouch?’, or maybe the guy that causes people to blame the judges because they’ve used ‘The Save’ on him early and not on the high-octane-has-been songbird named Pia Toscano!

Casey Abrams, like all of the other American Idol losers, were traditionally roaming around TV stations across the country and so his first stop is on Jay Leno. Nothing’s new there and nothing’s new with Casey Abrams looking like Seth Rogen either. So Casey ends up singing “I Don’t Need No Doctor” on Leno last Friday (April 29 Episode) and blatantly comparing himself to Fozzie Bear. I thought that was a joke?? Anyways, another performance in Regis & Kelly and it’s quite good. Maybe Casey is confused on the judges telling him to do this and that making him look silly. I think this fat bearded guy is built to do Jazz and not some Nirvana butchering renditions! If he performed this way on American Idol, maybe he could have lasted more. But what do you know, it’s a popularity contest, so…

Oh, look at this: the over pimped Casey Abrams strikes back and this time it’s about kissing the most beautiful woman on Earth (who happens to be an American Idol judge), Jennifer Lopez, while singing another train wreck. We all know that in this season, dirty tricks are really necessary to survive the show. So while Scotty McCreery likes drooling to the camera and make himself look stupid in your TV screen, James Durbin is also out there bringing Hulk Hogan and Zakk Wylde with him. What about Casey Abrams? Well, Casey is bringing his own growl/shout fest to the stage – that’s the only two things you can remember from this guy. In this episode (20th April), he kisses Jennifer Lopez in front of the camera.

American Idol Season 10 Episode 28 : Last Week, Paul McDonald got eliminated after giving a whispery performance and punishing the audience with terrible boredom. Guess what, the audience here is literally different than Grand Magnolia’s audience so yes, singing in a Karaoke Talent show is not a thing for Paul at all. Tonight, the remaining Top 7 contestants will be singing songs coming from the 21st Century. No idea how this episode will go since we all knew that this season is already a train wreck itself, but what about tonight? It depends on how you look at it and we’re in the Top 7 already. It’s high time that these contestants should know who they are and brand themselves. Maybe that’s what these guys will be doing tonight…
American Idol Season 10 Top 7 will be picking songs from the 21st Century next week
American Idol Season 10 is already gearing up their remaining Top 7 to be battling against each other next week, blah! The theme next week? Oh, it’s going to be ‘Songs from the 21st Century’ week and I couldn’t wait for Jacob Lusk or Casey Abrams to do another train wreck. Well, a huge train wreck from Casey Abrams and a never ending vibrato from Jacob Lusk! Add to that is a growling masterpiece from Haley Reinhart and we’re all in for the next round! News stated that Katty Perry and David Cook will also be performing, but of course, there are also those who likes to speculate things – like picking the songs they want the contestants to sing. Once again, I think I’d rather enjoy surprises…

Last night on American Idol, contestants were all singing songs released during their birth year. That sounds like a good idea and all but not later when Casey Abrams appeared on stage with a special green light decorating all over him. The light alone grabs my attention, enters the music and Casey Abrams started singing! Boy oh boy, I’ll keep this straight, that’s one hell of an awful vocals I have ever heard coming from a finalist! Not even Sanjaya Malakar can top that effeminate ‘Hello! Hello!’ right there and what more when Casey Abrams started belting the angst ridden ‘when the light’s out…’? That whole thing just goes out of the roof and we all look at each other and laugh our ass off! PICK OF THE WEEK!
