The moment we all were waiting for; the judges decided, America voted and Ryan got the privilege to announce the first contestant to go home. It’s a moment of gasping, heart beats increasing (and perhaps some drum rolls if they suffice) as everyone waits. But we are kept in suspense, dang! We have to sit through a plastic of California Dreaming with all four contestants from the previous episode. Well you can understand the cold performance; they didn’t sing from their heart but from fear. Fear of being eliminated. And now for the results? Shoot! We still have to sit through a David Cook’s song (will the agony ever stop). No one really paid attention to the songs except for the ogling eyes that lingered around the J-LO’s sequined, figure hugging leotard with a lioness them hairstyle to match; a relief from the eyesore stage performance. How does a lady in her forties look that good? Well, I guess money buys happiness; sort of.
American Idol Season 11 Episode 36: Elimination Night – 11th May 2012
American Idol Season 11 Episode 35: TOP 3 Performance – 10th May 2012
Yet another night of performance as the Top 3 sing their heart out in two themes dubbed ‘California Dreaming’ and ‘Songs we wish we had written’. It was nice to see Joshua has come back to life in the group performance of the non themed California Dreaming. The drill came in when choosing a song they wish they had written and, on personal opinion, some went well while others not so well. We can recap the whole night by taking a genesis on the whole night of performance with the four contestants fighting for the top 3 spot. For Phillip Phillips, or Double P, perhaps being named twice was an allusion to double luck this time. His ‘Have you ever seen the rain?’ rendition sounded way better than what this budding country boy gave us last week. And needless to say, Phillips has an amazing voice and a unique style; perhaps that would get him one of the top 3 spots so to speak.
American Idol Season 11 Schedule by March 2012
All you fanatics of this “reality show” must be wondering what’s in store for viewers awaiting this eleventh season. Aside from the fact that Simon Cowell is already out for 1 season, some people are still not over with it. Anyways, in this 11th Season of American Idol… guess what, nothing’s changing in the format (from last season)! 8 audition episodes, 3 episodes of the dreaded Hollywood Week, and The Las Vegas Challenge. This is when the Top 60 contestants were singing songs from the 50s. After that, they revealed the finalists. However, there’s no joy after this round. Well, maybe producers are telling these people to scream like crazy because they’re in to the next round but too bad because being in the Top 24 will not be easy!

Pia Toscano likes Chestnut as a New Hair Color
Alright… this might be an old news but what do you know. The raven haired American Idol Season 10 Shocker, Pia Toscano, is looking for a change and resorted posting (ie: asking her fans) on the kind of color that she’ll be putting on her hair. Just in today, Toscano posted a picture of herself acting retarded or how do you call that in Hollywood? Uhm… “crazy” maybe? Oh yeah, Pia posted a crazy picture of herself sporting geeky eyeglasses. Maybe this is what you’re getting if your debut single is not doing good in terms of what they call as “sales”, but hey, let’s call that – MEOW! Now here’s the tweet that is giving us a clue that Toscano is really into the idea of changing hair color: “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire….. Lalaaaaaa” and here’s another one “goodness I would look good in Chestnut. Perhaps I should color my hair.” And another one (this time asking YOUR opinion) “Contemplating what color to dye my hair… Any suggestions??? Keeping it on the darker side though!!”
American Idol Season 11 – Hollywood Week Spoiler!
The 11th Season of American Idol will be hitting your TV Screens this January 2012. That’s right, time flies faster than the wind and you never know, it’s Season 11 already. Guess what… Randy Jackson is still there once again! Anyways, all the auditions were all done and the American Idol gang now starts taping on Hollywood Week. There were a lot of layers before we can see the ‘live’ so-called reality show but at least, names of those who are rumored to “make it” in the Hollywood Round were going viral in the internet. Listed below were a hundred of names making it, then they we’re all chopped to 12 – how crazy is that! It’s a cheesy and strenuous process but people love it, so that’s it. If you’re able to catch the entire American Idol Season 10, then some names listed below might be familiar. Can’t recall the name of that chic who’s been in and out Hollywood Week for 6 Seasons (I think) and last news I’ve heard from her is that she’s in jail for punching her husband, lol! Funny she didn’t bother trying out once again this season…
Pia Toscano singing “This Time” for the last time??
Well… I might be feeling bad for this Pia Toscano fever; When she gets the cut (noted as the best singer of American Idol Season 10 but ends up in the 9th place) people from all over the world -including Hollywood Celebrities- were all going nuts posting this and that on Social Networking Sites. After a few months, it seems that Pia Toscano faded into obscurity. People are fast to overreact but they’re also too fast to forget and this time, this is the case. Here’s Pia Toscano singing “This Time” once again. Too bad but the song is almost wearing out and gets old really fast. It sounded great live on stage (AI Tour, anyone?) because Toscano is no doubt to be a real good vocalist no matter what but teenage girls hate her, the song wasn’t promoted very well, and McCreery simply swept it twice the fold, so what do I know…
