The moment we all were waiting for; the judges decided, America voted and Ryan got the privilege to announce the first contestant to go home. It’s a moment of gasping, heart beats increasing (and perhaps some drum rolls if they suffice) as everyone waits. But we are kept in suspense, dang! We have to sit through a plastic of California Dreaming with all four contestants from the previous episode. Well you can understand the cold performance; they didn’t sing from their heart but from fear. Fear of being eliminated. And now for the results? Shoot! We still have to sit through a David Cook’s song (will the agony ever stop). No one really paid attention to the songs except for the ogling eyes that lingered around the J-LO’s sequined, figure hugging leotard with a lioness them hairstyle to match; a relief from the eyesore stage performance. How does a lady in her forties look that good? Well, I guess money buys happiness; sort of.

Now for the grand climax; the elimination. Four contestants come to stage namely Joshua, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez and Hollie. Theirs has been a journey through many obstacles and harrowing training and perfections to stand where they stand today. But still one of them has to go.

Phillip Phillips emerged from a pawn shop to prove to America that his voice can be on the next record track.  Well he hasn’t been a disappointment in the whole journey; of course considering the hiccups many singers suffer on their journey to fame.

Jessica Sanchez remains the darling sweet 16 with a mellow voice that moves crowds but her knack of mimicking Showbiz artistes’ persona might land her in trouble (given how much originality is a big fuss in the show). But one thing is clear for a girl her age, such a voice is a gift to American Idol.

Then there is Joshua, if you remember his Josh Groban rendition of ‘You raise me up’ then you can say he has a spot in the top 3. His James Brown rendition also got Jimmy Lovine requesting a call from him; to which he hysterically replied ‘I ain’t got your phone number’. If there is someone who is going to be eliminated tonight, the lot isn’t about to be cast on Josh.

And now dear Hollie, and her dedicated string of Hollipops. Does she still have the x-factor to keep her competing for the top spot? We all know she never nailed it with ‘I can’t make you love me’ and the competition against the others is so stiff so to speak. Nevertheless, Hollie has come a long way in fighting odds to be where she is. And she is never quitting spirit still has some hope of making it big as a recording artiste.

So the lot was cast and Ryan was graced with the gruesome burden to announce the eliminated contestant. And after a few heartbeats and finger crossing the lot fell on………..Hollie! If asked this doesn’t come as a surprise, America wasn’t in favor given the few votes she received. It all ended with a teary farewell for Hollie as she hugged the remaining three.

Yet another night of performance as the Top 3 sing their heart out in two themes dubbed ‘California Dreaming’ and ‘Songs we wish we had written’. It was nice to see Joshua has come back to life in the group performance of the non themed California Dreaming. The drill came in when choosing a song they wish they had written and, on personal opinion, some went well while others not so well. We can recap the whole night by taking a genesis on the whole night of performance with the four contestants fighting for the top 3 spot. For Phillip Phillips, or Double P, perhaps being named twice was an allusion to double luck this time. His ‘Have you ever seen the rain?’ rendition sounded way better than what this budding country boy gave us last week. And needless to say, Phillips has an amazing voice and a unique style; perhaps that would get him one of the top 3 spots so to speak.

Hollie Cavanagh, the young girl who cried her face out in season 10 when someone decided ‘You are not what we are looking for’. So Hollie comes back in season 11 fully charged and determined to prove the point she didn’t get a chance on. Hollie was a blast in the group performance of ‘Faithfully’ but the Pandora’s Box became open when she chose ‘I can’t make you love me’ by Bonnie Rait. Well she now has the judges and America to choose whether her two contrasting song choices will take her through or have her eliminated.

Sweet 16 Jessica Sanchez seems to be the youngest of them all, but her voice gives a command like she is in her 20’s. Jessica awes the audience with ‘Steal Away’ though her performance sounds more of a mimic than a rendition. Lesson learnt, never try a persona that doesn’t belong to you; or better put, one man’s meat…. Like Hollie Jessica also has her fingers crossed for the judges and America to decide her fate. But the judges were pretty warmed up to her performance..so maybe the 5 year old girl who dreamt of American Idols will live her glory. We can only wait.

Lastly we have Joshua, another American Idol comeback; but this one is from last season so his jitters are still fresh. If looks won the Idol title, then Joshua has a swing, however it’s his voice that made him shine tonight. Nice choice of songs so to speak; his ‘You raise me up’ rendition oozed of emotion and touched the souls of the many fans who cheered him; and perhaps a handful of sobs from the ladies. In the second round, Joshua again marvels the crowd with ‘It’s a man’s man’s man’s world’. And he killed it, perhaps not to all fans, but if J-LO exclaims ‘it took her to church’ then things are looking pretty well for young Joshua.

As usual the final episodes are marked with tension, crossing of fingers and wishing your favorite doesn’t get eliminated. But it all depends on the judges’ and fan’s voting verdict.

American Idol Season 11 TOP 5 finalists ill be performing songs from the 60s tonight. Now let’s do a few recaps regarding this ‘theme’. It was like this, the judges willbe saying like: (1) that songs is TOO OLD for you!! OF COURSE, SHE/HE WASN’T EVEN BORN WHEN THIS FREAKING SONG CAME OUT! (2) you sounded too old fashioned, more like of a cabaret singer and a drunk karaoke singer combined. SEE ANSWER #1. (3) you’ve been tweaking a lot, some songs should remain as what it is and doesn’t need so much tweaking. READ: YOU DIDN’T BRING SOMETHING NEW INTO IT! (4) and many more! Do you have any idea that a couple of frontrunners were sacked because of this theme?? Sure it is more like of a bathroom song theme but hey, “these songs are hard to sing” more than you realize it! While the other these is all about “British Origins”. As you know it, there’s nothing left to watch in this freaking season now. Not unless if you’re a teen, a MILF, a COUGAR, or whatever, then Phillip Phillips is still there for you. For guys watching… you like watching a short pale blonde girl?? Then vote for Hollie Cavanagh Anyways, American Idol YouTube channel is simply not posting the videos of these TOP 5 performance and why is that (again). Maybe they want you to watch TV instead so Seacrest can proudly say something like: blabla million viewers for tonight! Does that makes sense? Alright, I’m not blogging anyway so…

I didn’t noticed it was about the end of American Idol Season 11 already?? I also couldn’t believe I am not blogging the performance episodes?? Why is that?? I don’t know! How can I write something about the ‘performance night’ when there’s nothing to watch in there! Who am I suppose to watch? Phillip Phillips?? Hahahaaaa! Last night I did watched the performance and to tell you the truth… it was horrible beyond belief (once again). And what about the BEST SINGER IN AMERICA??? That’s Jessica Sanchez, right? Is she doing good last night?? I don’t know but I think that’s one hell of a crappy performance! The judges are praising her again??? Sweet Jesus this freaking show is freaking fabricated to death this season! Look, this little Mexican, Asian, whatever girl will not win, accept it! So not unless Nigel gets into the scene backstage and tell the three stoogies what to do then that’s it! This night is not so special because if you loose, you just loose! I think next week when they go on a TOP 4 Elimination and the 4th loser is a big loser! That means no ‘Hometown Parade’ for you! But that’s next week so I’ll leave it at that first. Carrie Underwood will be performing tonight too, isn’t that nice? But to save the show? NO!

This night is going to be an important night for the remaining American Idol TOP 6 Finalists! Otherwise, the one to be eliminated and going home tonight will not be owning the title of what they call “American Idol Season 11 TOP 5″, I don’t know how important is that?! All I know is the winner and the runner up! Anyways, there’s some talk that Seacrest is having an eye on Phillip Phillips since there is this gossip circulating around the girl that Seacrest is dating is apparently having a crush on Phillip Phillips, how crazy is this? Looks like Phil will be our Season 11′s Paul McDonald. I mean, you know the drill, not winning a rigid “reality show” called American Idol but at least dating a celebrity – in fact, sometimes marrying them?? Makes sense to me! So tonight, let’s see who’s going home. On other news, you should know that this ‘American Idol Live Tour’ tickets will be going on sale this 11th of May 2012 – that’s Friday so you better mark your calendar up. Also in this night, guest performance from previous Idol contestant is there. I mean, the guy that made Pia Toscano packed her bags in no time – Stefano Langone – is performing his new single “I’m on A Roll”. 58 million votes came in tonight and who’s going home?? Let’s find out…

Well… what do you expect??? Elise Testone is a better singer in this season but for some reason people just don’t like her. She’s been out there hanging in the bottom two since the voting episodes started (is that right?) and tonight, she was finally sacked! Who’s left to vote now? Oh, I didn’t see the best singer in the entire America is still there, haha! Jessica Sanchez is still in the house so maybe you can vote for the best singer of the season! What about the most handsome contestant in American Idol history, Phillip Phillips. This guy sings like crap but is obviously the Katharine McPhee of Season 11 – prettiest girl in American Idol history too, lol!

American Idol Season 11 is about to end… well, it’s not ending as of yet (of course) but hey, I didn’t notice they are already in the TOP 6 tomorrow night. I’m not telling you guys about one boring season this one is but tomorrow, these “hopefuls” will be performing songs from Queen. Not that it is a bad thing but I don’t know, so far there’s no such thing as a ‘highlight’ that comes sticking in your head. It’s just another episode once again! Here they are again, American Idol Season 11 TOP 6 Finalists dropping by at the house of nasty paparazzi’s on Earth! No idea if these people are just faking their smile or they really find it too funny to hear nasty things from these TMZ guys (which I love). They were thrown by the producers in there so that “they will learn to deal with these notorious paparazzi’s”… and what’s next? Maybe getting too famous, getting all the fame inside your head while grabbing someone’s camera and stepping on it, LOL! Oh, once again I missed an episode and I’m just watching the entire thing online – does that count on the ratings?? As I can recall, these so-called ‘hopefuls’ were singing “Songs from Now and Then” last night and heard it was pretty bad! No wonder everything is a mess in this one hell of a boring season, so what’s new in this elimination night? Maybe some cocky contestant like Colton Dixon who is apparently taking all the pressure inside his head, lol. That performance of “Bad Romance” is by far one of the worst performance I’ve seen in American Idol history. Give it up, the guy is a big fan of himself so I can’t blame him. Perfectly, the jumping in the piano is pure crap and in fact, all performance from this guy is absolute rubbish. I think he thinks he’s cute so giving out careless statements like that is not a question and could backfire to you anytime. Or maybe the guy’s too stupid to know that he’s been watched by 60 million people, haha! So in this post, it is all about the one getting eliminated along with the other 2 losers in danger of getting sacked! Seacrest sounded like an overplayed vinyl in a crappy vinyl player saying the same tricks to the contestants to give the audience the “thrill”. Does it work? I don’t know…

Alright, looks like we are having the same CAST in this elimination round.

It ends up that, Colton Dixon, get’s eliminated! Once again, Elise Testone is still in the bottom three ‘though not in the bottom two this time around but still in great ‘danger’ of getting sacked next week. Hollie Cavanagh is in the bottom two! That means there are two blondes in the bottom two tonight, haha! Or better yet, three! Anyways, it sounds like a surefire for Phillip Phillips to win this season! And as for Colton Dixon, he’s apparently having the DAVE MUSTAINE SYNDROME! “You have your chance, but you blew it off!” haha! So there, Nigel just don’t like that crap you’ve said on live TV so out you go! LOL! I can’t believe this show, but yeah… bring it on! It’s American Idol and we freaking love it!

Cool… so tonight it was said that “it’s a new beginning for everyone”. And why is that??? Maybe because the so-called frontrunner of the show, Jessica Sanchez, were TERMINATED and the judges immediately gave her SALVATION! So tonight, they are back as the TOP 7 once again and they will compete with each other again like nothing happens. It’s like not hearing Randy Jackson blatantly shouted that Jessica Sanchez is the best singer in America (haha). Yup, same boring “finalists” like Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Lane, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon, and Joshua Ledet. This seems to be like another boring night so I’d rather say it to you that I am NOT blogging this crap and give you same boring opinions regarding a boring episode! Last week, your American Idol Season 11 TOP 7 finalists compete and now they’re back to compete since no one got eliminated last week! As you didn’t know yet, the so-called frontrunner of the season – Jessica Sanchez – got sacked last week! Well, it seems to be like that not later when the diva Jennifer Lopez grab the mic and stopped her from singing! The Veteran, Randy Jackson, showered Jessica Sanchez with a boatload of praises and even asked the audience: ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? WHAT????? Not to mention that the dawg even said that Jessica Sanchez is the best singer in America – straight to the face of the other 6 finalists sitting at the back! It amuses me how they are still able to “smile and clap their hands” after hearing that crap, haha! Well, it looks like Elise Testone beats the sh*t out of Jessica Sanchez. Considering that Elise was there hanging out at the bottom two week after week! Oh anyways, this week, the revived TOP 7 will be singing “Songs from Now and Then”. That’s like a #1 Billboard Hit from 2000 to 2012 then another “Soul” song from past decade, no idea what is that suppose to mean but who cares? All we know is that these guys were competing week after week and those themes were same old boring themes used every season so why bother, lol!
