American Idol Season 11 Episode 11 – This is it (once again), American Idol gang is going to Las Vegas for what they called as the “Vegas Round”. Last night calls the end of “Hollywood Week” and with that said, contestants were CLEANSED! That means several losers polluting the show were sacked so bad in one room, it hutrts them and it made them cry like typical losers they are, lol. You may read the RECAP OF LAST NIGHT’s EPISODE HERE. Tonight, these “lucky” contestants (like that’s what they are told) were all going to Las Vegas to once again sing for their life! That means another group performance and another audition! Things are getting strict nowadays. Maybe they want quality singers to encourage more advertisers, or? At least, they are really “lucky” to sing in Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis Theatre at Aria Resort & Casino. No ordinary karaoke singer could ever sing in there in front of Steven Tyler (despite of his useless judgement). Contestants will be singing songs from the 50s and 60s, then after this, there will only be 48 contestants to be battling next week and will perform a “One Song/One Instrument”. Here’s a recap below…
Coming out first is a group consisting of Colton, Skylar, Cari, and Chase and they’re singing the song “Dedicated To The One I Love”. Group singing sounded actually pretty good but the judges starts getting the hammer on and they’ll find holes in each of these contestants no matter what so Cari was sent home.
Then came David Leathers Jr., Ariel, Gabbi, and Jeremy. They sounded awesome doing their own rendition of “Rockin’ Robin”, making them all go to the next round.
Another awesome group coming up next is the group consisting Adam, Shelby, Erika, and Angie. They’re also going to the next round. Doing a great version of “Great Balls Of Fire”.
While the following losers were sent home like: Ashley Robles, Tina Torres, Wayne Wilson, (hot blonde) Janelle Arthur, Stephanie Ranue, and Aubrey Deckmire.
A couple of overdoing contestants came up on stage. Whoa! That was one quick overdone performance from Elise, Reed, Eben, and Haley!
A duet then came in: Cowboy and Jermaine is up and they’re singing “Breaking Up Is So Very Hard To Do”. Looks pretty awkward watching two MEN singing a duet and singing a song like that but seems that the judges “like” what these two guys do so yup… they’re going to the next round.
A few more girls were called making it to the next round were as follows; Ballie Browm, Hallie Day, and the loser from American Idol Season 10, Chelsea Sorrell.
The group of Deandre Brackensick, Candice Glover, and Jessica Sanchez were up next and they’ve done “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore” and looks like a deja vu of that pia Toscano group from Season 10. Anyways, that’s a jinxed group so what are we saying??
Then Elvis Presley came into the picture and his song is being murdered by wannabees and all that! It is no secret during this kind of night and here are the names of those “prisoners”: Clayton, Curtis,Adam, and Scott. They’re all the same it seems but Curtis is literally the ODD MAN OUT!
Jessica, Courtney, and Britney were getting ready to do their own rendition of “You Keep Me Hanging’ On”. Well… this actually sounded pretty BAD but Jessica was sacked and the two girls are making it… to the next round!
Same with the next group of girls (always a trio): Wendy, Mathanee, and Lauren. They did “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” but the judges are not loving Mathanee maybe because of that weird sounding name or maybe WEIRD SINGING? I don’t know…
Jairon, Neco, Phil, and Heejun did their own version of “I Only Have Eyes For You” sounded like some forgotten gayband, I mean… BOYBAND, but eventhough that the singing was good, it doesn’t make me excited. Tired of staring to guys doing this kind of stuff.
Next is the over pimped Creighton, Nick, Aaron, and Jen singing the unusaul “Sealed With A Kiss”. Judges seemed to like what they are hearing except maybe for the voice of Nick. He’s going home, that explains it!
That’s it for tonight! All you American Idol freaks just sit in your lazy bums watching TV but maybe these guys experienced a nerve wrecking experience of their lives! The final say is up and 34 losers are going home. Among the most notable losers that might surprise the audience because they didn’t make it are Angie, Skylar, Gabby, Johnny, Candice, and Brittney!
Tonight, 42 contestants are making it and might have a drink but that doesn’t stop there because next week they will be facing the ultimate screening test: their FINAL PERFORMANCE before stepping into that TOP 24 and perform to win your votes! All of these 24 hopefuls will be revealed next week! STAY TUNED…
