American Idol Season 10 Episode 36 : Sure, this show is really about to end! Last year, I remember Casey James’ doing the exit but tomorrow night – who do you think it’ll be?! Please welcome your Top 3 finalists for American Idol Season 10: Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, and Haley Reinhart. Each of them will be singing and performing 3 songs for tonight’s episode but aside from that, these three contestants will be visiting their hometown to do the rolling! It’s like going back to a place that back then, no one gives a rat arse on what you do but now… take a look at these people: they are screamin’, and cryin’, and even your local mayor that never knows you exist in the past cares for you now. Amazing, right? I assume that you already know the drill here, but let me do a recap of the hometown visit first before we proceed with this boring Top 3 finale…
HALEY REINHART : Deer Park, Illinois
First up, it’s the contestant that people want to go home. Even the judges want her gone. Randy Jackson just keep on dissing her and singled out her in front of millions but what do you know, she’s still here and now visiting her hometown with all her fans going crazy on her! Oh yes, it’s about autographs, photos, and tears falling down on Haley Reinhart. Kicking off first at the AT&T store in Deer Park and met about 200 Reinhart Fans gathered outside. Of course, it is mandatory to go back to your Alma Mater in a situation like this. Haley then visited Wheeling High School. Just before hopping out in that creepy black SUV, 400 fans wearing “Haley” shirts were already chanting Haley’s name inside that gymnasium. Haley even met more fans while doing the motorcade…
SCOTTY McCREERY: Garner, North Carolina
From the look of things, Scotty McCreery is already this season’s champ. I mean, this ain’t just a couple hundred people coming. Even the Raleigh suburb spent over $60,000 in order to host 30,000 fans coming down to see Scotty. I’ve no idea if these 30,000 folks were really voting for Scotty or are they really a fan? Due to this, the Police gets into the scene by blocking the neighborhood. This time, McCreery dropping by at his old job as a bag boy. Wow, what a success story?! So ok, the 17 year old bubble gum chewing singer then drops by Lake Benson Park. Right there, she even met more thousand screaming fans and what do you know, like what I’ve said, your local mayor is loving you so much!
This time it’s Mayor Ronnie Williams’ turn in giving Scotty the key to his local town (Garner) and yup, May 14 is now called “Scotty McCreery Day.” If you’re on a situation like this, there’s no way but to sing your heart out so McCreery did that for the fans. Funny how Josh Turner came into the fold, surprising McCreery. Then Josh said something like, “I heard you had never sung this song with a band before… I thought I’d bring a few of my guys in.” So both of ‘em singing, now what?!
LAUREN ALAINA : Chattanooga
Last might not be the least (to some), it’s the chubby and 16 year old Lauren Alaina. She ends up at the FOX station and AT&T Store. After that, she did a parade and being joined by bands from Soddy Daisy High School and Fort Olgelthorpe Lakeview High School. There’s also a banner that looks like this: “We Support Our Lauren Alaina!” Yeah, but being the youngest contestant, I’ve no idea how is she able to deal with the kind of “Rock stardom” she’s facing today and after the show. Oh, Jordin Sparks did it already so why not our Lauren Alaina can’t! Like what they say: You go girl!
