American Idol Season 10 Episode 35 : Last night’s episode is somewhat an “important” night for each of these remaining Top 4 contestants. Otherwise, that one unlucky person going home will not be granted with (1) a Hometown Parade, (2) Performing in your hometown with your local Mayor treating you like a real hero, (3) allocating one small street with your name on it (ie: James Durbin Avenue), or perhaps… (4) building you a statue in the middle of the road! Now that’s not all, things could be really endless, so yeah… that big loser going home tonight got no one to blame but his weak performance last night or the voting audience for being so lazy or maybe… blame Lady Gaga for giving you some nice advise and dressing you like a lunatic. For the record, 72 million votes came in for tonight’s episode!
There’s no bottom two I think. Seacrest reversed it. Instead of the dreaded Bottom 2, contestants were directly crowned to be in the TOP 3 and the ever boring Lauren Alaina is announced to get in the Top 3 spot first. This seems to be really obvious who’s going home tonight, but hey, let’s wait…

There there now… Haley Reinhart gets into the TOP 3! Who’s going home tonight then? We’re having James Durbin and Scotty McCreery in the line up. That means one of these boys will be leaving the show. Maybe it’s about time for a girl to win, lol! This seems to be a good design ‘though…
I knew it, lol! Tonight’s going to be a shocker. James Durbin gets eliminated while Haley Reinhart still there kicking strong makes only American Idol shooting themselves in the foot. Oh boy, seems like we’re having another Pia Toscano moments here. But don’t worry, like what Seacrest said last night: “This is the night that Daughtry went home”, so maybe tonight – it’s James turn! What a waste of a season this is, but Scotty is still there so behold…
However the ego has landed on American Idol Season 10 saying: “I did so much that’s never been done on this show before.” Now that’s a classic but you still didn’t make it to the Top 3, so? I just think that James is not a good sport to take this, bleh! Sorry James, but no James Durbin Avenue for you, haha…

I cannot believe America could kick off James he had no bad performances. How disappointing he was so cheated. Sorry James! You’ll be missed.
Every year atbthe final four it seems they pull out a choir and an orchestra for one of the contestants, usually one who seems less apt to win and then the vote comes in with a major contender getting voted off as the audience is fooled by the background singers and quality music. IS THIS CHOICE MADE BY THE SHOW OR HAVE SHREWD GAME PLAYERS CAUGHT ON?
Just saying… James and Scotty should be the final two.

I used to dig this guy, but his stupid enough to act like that on national tv. his ego is nothing but an embarrassment. durbin to be the next daughtry?? not gonna happen! chris accepts defeat and proves that he’s really worth it by walking the talk. i’m a fan but I’m like being turned off by such attitude right now. if this guy will make it big, I’m expecting him to be more arrogant than he is now, a nobody. So james, why don’t you make like a tree and get outta here!!?

James was good but don’t blame American Idol it’s up to america we vote if he don’t get the vote your out . SO if you want to speak VOTE!!!!!!! There’s no other answer. James will make it in this business if he wants it bad enough, because he’s good, and come on top 4 thats amazing. Look back on past years at the top 10. There’s alot of idols that have made it big and they were from the top 10. So go James you can do it…..
AMERICAN IDOL is one RIGGED Show!!!!!! They kicked off the ultra talented Casey, and then, the ONLY singer that has NEVER been bottom 3, James, get kicked out! ALL of the SUDDEN !!! What a stupid show, i’m boycotting this crap. James and Casey were the reasons to watch AI this season, and I’m sure many would agree. WHAT A RIGGED , FAKE SHOW !!!

This is a reality show which means basicly it has no basis in reality. It is designed to be a money making machine and if people get some enjoyment out of it and they(the idol machine) help a couple kids great, they still make millions.
I have seen the same formula used at the end of the show year after year to shake it up and works every time, don’t know why people fall for it, look past the choir and the strings. I am sure James will make it and Scotty too.
I realize that mainly kids are voting and I am older so I am not the prime demographic but having listened to music for decades I can say that the Stevie Nicks, Pat Benetar or even Carrie Underwood is not on this years stage vocally. I also think James is a great role model for those with a disability. I know someone who suffers from the same condition as he does and he is truely inspiring.
